ILatium Morini, Valpolicella, DOC, Veneto, Italy 2019

Regular price £14.99

Ruby coloured, with abundant red fruits, soft and delicious.

Inspired by the quality of the wines produced by their neighbour, Romano dal Forno, the seven brothers and cousins who own Latium Morini ddecided not to sell their grapes to the locale Cantine Sociale, as their forefathers had for years but to make their own wines instead. Latium originates from the Latin name for their hometown, Illasi, which lies in the eastern part of the Valpolicella district. Over 2000 years ago the Romans established the towns and villages in the area and planted vines and olive trees and so this land has a long viticultural tradition.

Tasting Note: Lovely ruby colour with a powerful and aromatic nose of cherry, strawberry and raspberry fruits. Soft warm and dry in the mouth with elegant and harmonious tannin.
