Weingut Bercher is a family owned and operated winery whose family crest dates back to 1457. Based in the Kaiserstuhl village of Burkheim, in the far south of Baden, the family have been making wine for over 10 generations on their 27 ha estate.
Stainless-steel fermentation and on lees for four to five months. Arne Bercher uses an old champagne yeast that ferments dry without a flavour profile. Loess soil.
Tasting Note: This Weissburgunder has an aroma of apple and hazelnut, as well as a little citrus fruit. Fine-flowery notes with filigrain acidity in combination with subtle fruit notes.
