Subtle and stony notes on the nose, dry but with a citrus mid-palate giving super depth - classic Chablis
Domaine des Malandes is a family estate that utilises 29 hectares of vines in Chablis. The wines are renowned for their freshness, finesse and minerality directly from the famous Kimmeridgian limestone, the unique subsoil of the Chablis vineyards.
After thirty years Lyne Marchive is now letting her children take the lead in winemaking. Each terroir is allowed to express its own characteristics and the vineyards are run in a sustainable way, using organic fertilizers when needed. Unoaked Chardonnay.
Tasting Note: Hints of wet stone on the nose with apple and pear, dry with good fruit on the palate, great length giving a lovely harmonious finish. A fine example of Chablis.
