A beautiful 38 ha estate to the south-west of the town of Bergerac, located on the edge of the Dordogne. Chateau des Eyssards is owned by Pascal Cuisset, who is one of the most innovative young winemakers in the region. Pascal is passionate about his wines and believes that while technology can be extremely useful in winemaking, it is the physical labour and intuitive skills of a winemaker that really count.
Tasting Note: Dry, medium-bodied, zesty, refreshing wine with apple and citrus notes. Its fresh acidity makes it an ideal aperitif but it would also be very good with lighter fish or chicken dishes.
