Elegant Moulis, from west of Margaux, refined and from an excellent vintage
This family owned estate has been run by Brigitte and Francis Bernard since 1982. their aim is to make elegant wines which drink well in their youth and express the regional terroir. Moulis-en-Medoc is located just inland from Margaux on clay and gravel soils and is regarded as one of the best value appellations of the Médoc.
The small 10 hectare estate is run sustainably and the fruit hand-harvested.
Tasting Note: An attractive core of dark berry fruits surrounded by classic notes of cedar spice, roasted plum and supple, approachable tannins. A beautifully balanced, refined expression of red Bordeaux.

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
