6 Bottle Mixed Case showcasing the wonderful Blaufränkisch grape
Popular across Central Europe, known as Lemberger in Germany and Kékfrankos in Hungary, Blaufränkisch is a late ripening grape producing rich spicy reds.
It has now been adopted as Austria's signature red grape, and rightly so, producing some lovely, lively reds. Across the border in Hungary Kékfrankos is even more widely planted, and also admired, as a single varietal and as a key element in Bull's Blood of Eger.
Also known as Central Europe's Pinot Noir for its character and quality, we can't recommend this grape enough.
