Lively red fruits, with oak spice and sweetness, vibrant with bit of potential ahead of it. Super.

Domaine De La Noblaie have been cultivating vines for more than one hundred years. Presses, vats and cellars carved out of limestone 'tufa' are evidence of past winemaking activities. The winemaking culture even named the village, 'Le Vau Breton' which in Rabelaisien language, means 'Cabernet Franc Valley'. As part of his studies in oenology at Dijon, Jérôme Billard, the winemaker, worked at Château Petrus - an 8-month stage that was obviously successful as after qualifying he was then taken on by Dominus estate in Napa for a year before heading on to Sacred Hill estate in New Zealand, giving a fine view of the world of wine before returning with his wife Elodie to take over the family's 12 hectare estate in 2003.

Tasting Note: Plums and redcurrant fruit on the nose. A real Cabernet Franc that shows depth and character with nicely ripe, balanced tannins. The Loire's natural freshness makes this a uniquely versatile wine to be enjoyed with food, or just enjoyed!
