Lovely blend of Assyrtiko and Malagousia, grown in the traditional way on Paros
The Moraitis winery is a 4th generation enterprise, focusing on tradition and an organic approach. The winery has been in existence for just over 100 years, situated on the picturesque island of Paros in the Cycladic islands. The vines are not irrigated and are un-grafted (one of the few sites in Europe able to do this). The vines are grown in the traditional fashion, crawling across the ground, intended to protect them from the hot summer winds (known as the Meltemi).
Tasting Note: Fresh aromas of flowers and grapefruit. Mineral on the palate with a firm acidity and a long lasting finish. Well balanced and elegant wine that can be served with the Mediterranean cuisine, seafood, oysters, clams, fish and more.
